Client-side encryption

Encrypted messaging, zero trust required.

Generate PGP keys in your browser, send encrypted messages by email, and decrypt them locally. Your private key never leaves your device — the server only stores ciphertext.

No install required. Runs in any modern browser.

Everything you need, nothing you don't

Browser key generation

Create and manage OpenPGP keypairs without installing anything. Keys are encrypted with a passphrase you control.

Encrypted inbox

Send ciphertext to anyone by email address. Recipients decrypt messages in their own browser with their private key.

Zero server access

The API never sees plaintext, passphrases, or private keys. It only stores encrypted blobs indexed by recipient.

How it works

  1. Generate a keypair

Anobox creates an OpenPGP keypair locally. Your private key is encrypted with a passphrase only you know.

  2. Encrypt to a recipient

Compose a message and encrypt it to anyone's public key. Only the holder of the matching private key can read it.

  3. Decrypt in your inbox

Received ciphertext lands in your Anobox inbox. Decrypt it in-browser with your private key and passphrase.
